About Me

My name is Paul and I am a sixty something year old photographer. My interests are mainly in street and landscape photography. I have been taking photos in one form and another for many many years. My parents bought me my first camera in 1970 as a tenth birthday present, it was a Kodak Instamatic, I had a lot of fun with that camera.

In the 80’s I bought a 35mm Chinon camera which travelled everywhere with me and at one stage I even developed my photo’s. I was coach driving at the time and took this camera everywhere. I have boxes of photographs tucked away which will probably end up a retirement project to digitise it all. I still use my 35mm Chinon and works as well as it ever did

I now use Canon cameras and have a selection 7D, 5D MkIII and 5D Mk IV. I also have a mirrorless Fuji XE-2, as well as a Mamiya RB67 and Hasselblad 500c medium format film cameras. I am trying to push myself to take photo’s of models which I find quite challenging, apparently its good to get outside your comfort zone.
